She Is . . .

Just a quick post to remind my daughter how much I love her and how very proud I am of the young woman she is becoming! You know that phrase, "I can't find the words to properly describe what I'm feeling"? Well, that is such a true statement when it comes to the blessing that God has given me through my daughter.

But I'm going to give it a try . . .

Here are some 'She Is' statements:

She is smart. Like crazy smart, the most social intelligent person that I think I've ever met.

She is funny.

She looks for ways to make people's special days memorable.

She is absurdly creative.

She is beautiful.

She is compassionate.

She is great at reading a room.

She is financially astute.

She has a great dog.

She is stubborn.

She is a hard worker.

She is determined.

She makes great choices.

She is not a follower.

She is not afraid of peer pressure.

She has great fashion sense. (I'm basing this on what my Mom and my ex-wife have to say on this subject)

She is caring.

She is willing to learn.

She is not arrogant.

She has a great laugh.

She also has an awesome smile.

She makes me proud.

Now I wouldn't be a good Dad if I didn't mention some areas that I'm praying will also become her identity in the future.

I'm praying she will be known primarily as a child of God.

I'm praying she will learn to love to read His Word.

I'm praying that she will lean on Him for all things, and ask Him for wisdom when she needs it.

I'm praying she learns that as much as her earthly dad loves her, her heavenly Father loves her beyond measure.

I'm praying that her future spouse will love Jesus even more than she does.

I'm praying she lives for His approval and no one else's.

I'm praying that she talks to her Father more than her father.

I'm praying that she helps many to become Kingdom followers.
